For gyms, studios and coaches
See what your members eat, while they are on your programme.
Members log their food in the Brekkie app. Your team reads it in a portal on this website. This page sets out exactly what the gym sees, what it never sees, and what a member agrees to before any of it starts.
Your first month is free.
What the gym sees.
Everything a member logs between the day they join your programme and the day they leave or it ends. For each member:
- Every food, by meal: breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks, each with the time and the amount.
- Calories, protein, carbs and fat for each day and week, set against that member’s goals.
- A weight check-in on each date you set for the programme. Members can skip one.
- Any photo a member adds to something they log.
Across the programme, the members list shows how many people have logged today and in the last 7 days, when each one last logged and their average calories for the week. That is the page to open before a class, to see who might like a word.
The gym sees the diary as it is. There is no summary to wait for and no screenshot to ask a member to send.
What the gym does not see.
- A member’s Ask Brekkie conversations.
- Anything they logged before they joined, or log after they leave.
- Who has subscribed to the app and who is in their free week. Nothing in the portal says who is paying.
- Anything about a member of your gym who has not joined a programme.
Members do not see each other’s diaries either. Each programme has a feed, and a member chooses, post by post, whether to share a meal there. That is all the rest of the group sees.
Nothing ranks or grades anyone. There are no leaderboards, nobody is marked as behind, and going over a goal shows as a number with no warning beside it, in the portal as in the app.
What members agree to before joining.
A member scans your QR or opens your invite link, and the app shows them one screen before anything else. It names your gym and the programme. It says the gym will see everything they log while they are on it, and lists what it will not see. It names the people who will see their diary: the owner, and each coach on that programme.
They then choose to ask to join, or not. Sharing with the gym is part of being on the programme, so it cannot be switched off member by member. Someone who would rather not share does not join, and can still use Brekkie on their own.
A member can leave at any time, in one tap, and your team can no longer open their diary. If the coaches on a programme change, its members are told.
Who decides who joins.
You do. Scanning the QR only asks to join. Requests wait in the portal until someone on your team confirms or declines them, and you can remove a member later. If a poster ends up somewhere it should not be, replace the QR and the old one stops working.
The owner sees every programme and every member on it. A coach sees only the programmes the owner has put them on: its members, diaries, requests and feed. Pro has 1 staff login, the owner included, and Pro Plus has 3 staff logins.
What your gym agrees to.
Food and weight are personal, so the owner accepts the gym agreement when they create the gym. In short: use what you see only to coach that member on that programme, do not pass it on or use it for marketing, keep it in Brekkie, and stop when the member leaves or the programme ends.
Your gym pays a flat monthly price for the portal: £10 a month for Pro or £20 a month for Pro Plus, and your first month is free. Each member can try Brekkie free for 7 days, then pays for the app themselves. See pricing for what each plan includes, or how a programme works from start to finish.

Questions about what you see.
Do members know the gym can see what they eat?
Yes. Before anyone asks to join, the app names the gym, says it will see everything they log during the programme, and names the owner and each coach who will see it.
Can I see what a member ate before they joined?
No. You see what a member logs from the day they join until they leave or the programme ends, and nothing from outside those dates.
Can every coach see every member?
No. The owner sees every programme. A coach sees only the programmes the owner has put them on. Staff logins for coaches are part of Pro Plus.
What happens when a member leaves a programme?
They leave in one tap and your team can no longer open their diary. Their diary stays theirs, in their own app.
Does the gym see who has paid for the app?
No. Members pay for the app themselves, and nothing in the portal says who has subscribed and who hasn’t.
Is there software to install at the gym?
No. Your team uses the portal on this website, on a phone or a computer. Members use the Brekkie app on iPhone or Android.
What may the gym do with what it sees?
Use it to coach the members on that programme, and nothing else. The gym agreement rules out marketing, advertising and passing it on, and every owner accepts it when they create their gym.
