Programme feed rules
Some Brekkie programmes have a feed where the gym and the members share meals and messages. These are the rules for it.
Effective from 7 October 2026
Who sees what you post
What you post is seen by the gym that runs the programme and by everyone on the programme, with the name you gave for the programme. Other members never see your diary, only what you choose to post. If you post a meal that has a photo, the photo goes with it.
You choose each post
- Nothing goes in the feed unless you post it. Sharing a meal is your choice each time.
- You can delete your own posts and comments at any time.
- If you leave the programme, your posts and comments in its feed are removed.
- The gym decides whether likes, comments and messages are switched on for its programme. Sharing a meal is always available while the programme runs.
Be kind
Please don’t post anything that is:
- abusive, hateful or threatening,
- sexual,
- unlawful,
- pressure about anyone’s food or body, including your own,
- anything that encourages extreme dieting, or tells someone else what to do about a medical condition.
If someone else is in a photo, check that they are happy to be. Don’t post anything about another person’s health or private life that they haven’t shared themselves.
Reporting and blocking
- You can report a post or block someone from the post’s menu. Reports go to your gym and to Brekkie, and Brekkie can remove posts and people that break these rules.
- A report about a gym’s own post goes to Brekkie only.
- You can block another member from a post’s menu, and undo it later. You can’t block the gym, but you can report it.
- You can leave the programme at any time, from the My gym tab.
What happens to posts that break the rules
The gym can remove a post or comment. Brekkie can remove a post or comment too, and can stop a person using a programme feed. We may close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these rules, as set out in our Terms of Use.
Under 18
Programmes are for people aged 18 or over, so the feed is too.
Tell us
If something in a feed worries you and you would rather not use the report button, email info@brekk.ie.
If you think we got a decision about a post or an account wrong, email info@brekk.ie and we will look again.
How we handle what you post is in our Privacy Policy.
