Delete your account
You can delete your Brekkie account, and everything you’ve logged, at any time. It takes a few taps in the app.
Effective from 7 October 2026
This page is for Brekkie, the macro tracker for iPhone and Android, made by TBS Labs LTD.
In the app
- Open Brekkie and go to the Profile tab.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Tap Delete account again to confirm.
Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out. This can’t be undone.
By email
If you can’t get into the app, email info@brekk.ie from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We will delete it within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm the request from that address first, so that nobody else can delete your account.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes:
- your account and email address,
- your goals and the details you gave to set them,
- your food log,
- your custom foods, saved meals and favourites,
- your check-ins, including weight, body fat and waist,
- your photos,
- your Ask Brekkie conversations,
- if you joined any programmes: your place on them, so that the gym can no longer see your diary, and your posts, comments and likes in the programme feeds, and the blocks and reports you made.
The photo files themselves are removed from storage by an automatic clean-up shortly after your account is deleted.
What isn’t deleted
- Your subscription. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings, ideally before you delete your account.
- A record of any programme agreement. If you joined a programme, we keep a short record of what you were shown, when you agreed, and when you were confirmed and left. It doesn’t hold your diary, and it carries an internal identifier, not your name or email. We keep it for up to six years after you leave or the programme ends, so that we can show what was agreed if a complaint is made, and then delete it.
- What a gym has already seen. Deleting your account stops the gym seeing your diary, but we can’t undo what it saw while you were on its programme.
- Purchase records. The app stores and the service we use to manage subscriptions keep their own records of purchases under their own policies.
- Crash reports. These are kept separately from your account and are removed on our provider’s normal schedule.
If you run a gym
If you are the only owner of a gym that is in use, because it has a running or upcoming programme or an active plan, you can’t delete your account until you have ended your programmes and cancelled your plan. If you are the only owner of a gym that is not in use, deleting your account deletes the gym too. If the gym has another owner, you simply leave it.
Leaving a programme without deleting your account
You don’t have to delete your account to stop a gym seeing your diary. Leave the programme from the My gym tab. The gym stops seeing your diary at once, and your posts in the programme feed are removed.
Deleting some data without deleting your account
You can remove single things in the app at any time, such as a food entry, a saved meal, a custom food or an Ask Brekkie conversation. To have something else removed while keeping your account, email info@brekk.ie.
More on how we handle your data is in our Privacy Policy.
